For a better use of the products and services, an instruction manual is necessary.
The mankind and the jinn*, the most complex "products", are no exception to this rule. And we just have to know that our reference preceded our creation to realize that we were predestined to live properly provided that we learn about our "good practices" and follow them:

As we have a choice on somethings, some people comply with this standard. Others don't.
Let's reread the same verses, through a different lens, to see how the Quran helps us make the right decision:
1- With the scientific truths "The sun and the moon [move] by precise calculation", "And the heaven He raised and imposed the balance" the Quran works together with our sensory receptors (the brain as driver) to prepare the ground to the believe truths to lodge deep in our hearts;
This 1st step applies much more for atheists and reconverts since people born and raised as practicing Muslims do not need, in general, to be reassured through scientific methods to then understand their purpose of life.
Indeed, the divine will wants that those believers maintain their "fitrah" (islamic nature) to direct their face "toward the religion, inclining to truth.":
Sorat Ar-Rom (The Romans chapter) : 30 : سورة الروم |
The prophet Mohammad (PBUH) said:
Narrated by Al Boukhari** |
And even with this fitrah, the believers need all time "the reminder" ...
Sorat Ad-Dariyat ( The Scatter chapter) : 55 : سورة الذاريات |
... knowing that:
Sorat Al-Anbiyae( The Prophets chapter) : 107 : سورة الأنبياء |
2- Responsible for a second category of reason, our heart attached to the believe truths ("al aqida" : "العقيدة" in Arabic and which comes from the verb to attach) to know:
- Who are we going to engage with? "The Most Merciful."
- Examples for what is He capable of? "Taught the Quran Created man, [And] taught him eloquence, The sun and the moon [move] by precise calculation, And the grass and the trees prostrate, And the heaven He raised and imposed the balance."
3- As the heart circulates the blood to irrigate the rest of the body, it deploys the truth speech of Allah for the "righteous deeds" ...

... to know for what are we going to commit to? On this example, it's about the ethic of justice: "That you not transgress within the balance, And establish weight in justice and do not make deficient the balance."
It was an example*** and there are others to discover in The Quran (Part 1) with, each time, new scientific truths (Part 2) but also, before and after all, the believe ones and legislations (Part 3)
We notice that Allah asks us to:
- Avoid the bad: "That you not transgress within the balance", "and do not make deficient the balance."
- Do the good: "And establish weight in justice"
If Allah made the difference between these 2 terms which concern the same subject, it is that there is a reason.
And this is what we will see in the next with Al-istiaada (الإستعاذة): say "I seek refuge with Allah from the banished Satan".
